Pıtır – Female Rabbit

Their story

Pıtır is a rabbit bought from a pet shop and left through neglect. Her health recovered under the care of our exotic animal vet. She is curious about gnawing shoes but trouble-free with proper gnawing toys.

Character

She is calm and clever; litter-trained. She needs at least three to four hours of free roaming a day and should not be kept in a cage all the time. Gentle contact is needed with children; picking her up is not advised to avoid falls from height.

• Myxomatosis and RHD vaccines given

What kind of home is needed?

She seeks a home that can provide a diet of fresh hay, alfalfa and vegetables and has space outside the cage. Examinations by an exotic animal vet and dental checks twice a year are advised.
