Fındık – Young Mixed-Breed Dog

Their story

Fındık was found wandering on the Karşıyaka seafront and has stayed for three months at our clinic's volunteer home. He has learned basic commands (sit, wait, come) and leash training is largely complete. He is ready for adoption within a few weeks.

Character

Playful and people-focused. He needs at least two hours of running or walking daily. He can be excitable with small children, so is suited to families with children over six. Good with other dogs; not yet tested with cats.

Health

• Examined and in good general health
• Up-to-date combined vaccines and rabies vaccine given
• Internal and external parasite treatment done
• Microchipped and registered
• Neutered
• Rabies vaccine repeated at 12 months

What kind of home is needed?

He seeks a home with a garden or an owner able to walk long in the mornings and evenings. Free behavioural-training support from our trainer is provided for the first two months.
