Karabaş – Kangal-Mix Guardian Dog

Their story

Karabaş is a four-year-old dog left behind when a shepherd moved and brought to our clinic. Strong and intelligent, with a high protective instinct. Having grown up with a village family he is used to the outdoors and to animals.

Character

Karabaş is calm and very gentle with people he knows, aloof toward strangers. He has lived with children but should not be handled by children alone without supervision. Compatible with other female dogs; care is needed at first meetings with male dogs.

Health

• Examined and in good general health
• Up-to-date combined vaccines and rabies vaccine given
• Internal and external parasite treatment done
• Microchipped and registered
• Neutered
• Hip radiograph done for dysplasia, mild

What kind of home is needed?
